Retinal Sr. Sales Representative for Southeast Territory

Currently seeking to hire a Retinal Sr. Sales Representative for Southeast Territory (SC/NC/GA/KY/TN) Also consider East Coast.

Exciting Opportunity to join BVI's newest retinal division Vitreq, who's mission is to become one of the leading vitreoretinal surgery platforms globally. This division's main focus is to build a robust, high-quality ophthalmic portfolio within the vitreoretinal surgery marketing by collaborating with our internal R&D, engineering, renowed surgeons, to create a portfolio of state of the art minimally invasive retinal instruments and capital equipment designed to match the needs of today's and tomorrow's surgical needs.

This position is responsible for managing a sales territory, and promoting and selling Vitreq's existing line of single-use and reusable vitreoretinal surgical instrumentation and other surgical supplies related to these cases to retinal surgeons in that given market. The surgical sales consultant will also be responsible for establishing key relationships with Administrators, Surgical Or Managers, Materials Mgrs, and other key decision makers in the selling process to facilitate the sale of retinal instrumentation with that territory. Will work in conjunction with the BVI anterior segment Surgical Sales Representative and will share leads and opportunities as they arise with BVI's other products lines. Will work closely with BVI's Endo Optiks Sales Specialist to facilitate leads where needed for the sale and follow through with capital sales for the Endo team. Target call points will be hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers., The incumbent must maintain knowledge of a diverse portfolio of BVI products and support sales efforts for same. Incumbent is responsible for administrative reporting such as account profiles and analysis (including CRM) population), daily/monthly/quarterly/annual planning, provision of competitive intelligence, maintaining an up-to -date list of inventory, expense reporting, etc. The incumbent must also maintain and utilize an effective supply of marketing collateral in order to provide sufficient for promotional needs to support their assigned territory.

Required: B.S./B.A. Degree in Business and/or related medical field/college degree. 5+ years of Ophthalmic Vitreoretinal instrumentation sales experience with proven track record of success. 5+ years of Posterior Segment Vitreoretinal phaco/vitrectomy capital sales experience. Solid network of Retinal Surgeons and contacts within marketplace in the assigned sales territory. Experience using a contact database or CRM tool. (Salesforce.com preferred).

Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated track record of success and an aptitude to learn and apply new knowledge. Strong Interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to foster and develop strong relationships is a must. All candidates for this position must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and must be able to read and write in English.

Global Product Manager (Upstream)

Currently looking to hire: Global Product Manager is responsible for all upstream marketing activities for a specific portfolio of products. Develops, implements and maintains product marketing plans to exceed units, revenue and profitability goals their product lines in all targeted regions. Serves as critical link between global customers, global sales team, downstream marketing, and other internal functions. The Global Product Manager will be responsible for maintaining a 3-year strategic plan for their business. This will include ongoing market assessments, competitive landscape analyses, identification of opportunities and threats, as well as identification of new sources of growth. In addition, this individual will be responsible for identifying new sourced products and/or innovation to drive top-line growth. Innovation, The Global Product Manager will be responsible for the new product innovation pipeline as well as non-product and business model innovation. He/she will be responsible for identifying customer insights on current and future unmet needs, and translating those insights into a framework for the development and launch of new products and services.

This individual must be able to effectively partner cross functionally to drive the development and/or acquisition of products, services, and technologies to meet those needs. Commercial Performance, The Global Product Manager will support the global sales and downstream marketing organizations through the development of advertising, sales and promotional tools, KOL management programs, and clinical education support materials. This individual must be able to effectively partner with local sales and marketing, as well as other key functions to help achieve annual sales and profitability targets. He/she will develop product sales forecasts for new products in conjuction with operations/production planning. This individual will be responsible for market analysis, identification of opportunities, goal setting and driving of best practices amongst regions.

Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) plus 4-6 years related experience/experience in upstream marketing is required. Experience in downstream marketing is a plus. Experience in Ophthalmology and/or surgical products is preferred. Experience with new product development is required. The ability to build strong productive relationships within cross-functional teams is required. Proven expertise in developing sales and marketing initiatives directed at health care professionals is required. Proven expertise with portfolio management, and product lifecycle management is required. The ability to think analytically with an entrepreneurial approach to drive business results is required. Global marketing experience is a plus.

Our Senior Executive Assistant will be responsible for a broad range of executive level administrative support and assistance to Executive Level Management. Exercise considerable judgement and discretion and will interact with management (various business functions) on a day-to-day basis, handling very confidential documents, materials and subject matter. This position will require individual to exercise independent discretion and judgement to solve both general and complex problems related to the support of the executives. The Assistant will manage and coordinate the assigned Executive' calendars including scheduling meetings, travel plans, as well as E-mail administration, compiling reports, filing, some report analysis, powerpoint creation and creating systems to support Executives. The Assistant will act as a problem identification and resolution resource, by answering questions, providing guidance, troubleshooting and following up with other assistants in resolving problems. Additionally, the Sr. EA will have management responsibility for one direct report (Admin/Receptionist).

Beaver-Visitec International is currently seeking a Sales Representative for Seattle Washington to help create and promote innovative, new microsurgical products for ophthalmic surgery. Based out of and live in Greater Seattle area or Portland locations preferred, the Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales and promotion of ophthalmic disposable knives, instruments, kits and other supplies to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and growing annual sales volume in the assigned territory - Coverage is Pacific Northwest territory.

We require a BS or BA degree in Business and/or related discipline, 2 or more years selling medical devices in the operating room market to hospitals, surgery centers and doctor's offices. Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated track record of success and an aptitude to learn and apply new clinical knowledge. Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability t to foster and develop strong relationships is a must. All candidates for this position must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and must be able to read and write in English.

Travel up to 50%. Ability to drive a car; use lap top while sitting; use telephone and other hand-held devices; stand or walk for at least 4 hours at a time; presentations; written/oral communication in English; lift up to 70 lbs. Travel by plane, observe surgery in the Operating Room or Surgery Center.

Sr. Application Business Analyst will report to Global Applications Manager. Responsible for managing support and development initiatives of all globally deployed business systems for BVI, including IFS, EDI, and other systems as may be deployed by BVI. Identify areas/potential projects where process redesign/improvement can significantly impact efficiency, quality, profitability, competitive position and customer experience; work closely with Business Partners to ensure that process improvement projects support the strategic priorities of the organization; teach process improvement classes and coach process improvement practitioners across the company. Seeks out and champions new business and technology initiatives with company stakeholders. Configures, supports and maintains the IFS application suite and serves as project manager for future deployment of IFS modules. Manages 3rd party development resources needed to meet IT project timelines. Coordinates and manages EDI software, improvement initiatives, and projects for the addition of new partners and transaction sets as business requires.

Requirements: BS in CS, Finance or Related field, Preferred Masters. 5+ years IT experience ; 5+years working in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of IFS or another top ERP application suite; 5+ years managing small to large IT deployment initiatives. Experience providing both technical and project management support; 1+ years exposure to Oracle or MS SQL Database Administration. Preferred: Crystal report develop experience; 1-2 years of Business warehouse exposure; (Cognos, BW, etc); 1-2 years support of EDI environment work with 3rd part Vans.
