Global Product Manager (Upstream)

Currently seeking to hire: Global Product Manager (Upstream) is responsible for all upstream marketing activities for a specific portfolio of products. Develops, implements and maintains product marketing plans to exceed units, revenue and profitability goals their product lines in all targeted regions. Serves as critical link between global customers, global sales team, downstream marketing, and other internal functions.

Global Product Manager (Upstream) will be responsible for maintaining a 3-year strategic plan for their business. This will include ongoing market assessments, competitive landscape analyses, identification of opportunities and threats, as well as identification of new sources of growth. In addition, this individual will be responsible for identifying new sourced products and/or innovation to drive top-line growth. 

Innovation: Global Product Manager (Upstream) will be responsible for the new product innovation pipeline as well as non-product and business model innovation. He/she will be responsible for identifying customer insights on current and future unmet needs, and translating those insights into a framework for the development and launch of new products and services. This individual must be able to effectively partner cross functionally to drive the development and/or acquisition of products, services, and technologies to meet those needs.

Commercial Performance: Global Product Manager (Upstream) will support the global sales and downstream marketing organizations through the development of advertising, sales and promotional tools, KOL management programs, and clinical education support materials. This individual must be able to effectively partner with local sales and marketing, as well as other key functions to help achieve annual sales and profitability targets. He/she will develop product sales forecasts for new products in conjuction with operations/production planning. This individual will be responsible for market analysis, identification of opportunities, goal setting and driving of best practices amongst regions.

Required : Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) 4-6 years related experience in upstream marketing. Experience in downstream marketing is a plus. Ophthalmology and/or surgical products is preferred. Experience with new product development is required. The ability to build strong productive relationships within cross-functional teams is required. Proven expertise in developing sales and marketing initiatives directed at health care professionals is required. Experience with portfolio management, and product lifecycle management is required. The ability to think analytically with an entrepreneurial approach to drive business results is required. Global marketing experience is a plus.

Global Applications/MDO Manager

Our Global Applications/MDO Manager will report to Manager- Global Applications/MDO-EDI. They will be responsible for Managing our Global Master Data Organization. Assures consistent and accurate organization of item master data across BVI organization; assures integrity and accuracy of required Global Trade Compliance and Regulatory data to support compliant and seamless worldwide movement and sale of inventory. Optimize master data configuration as an integral part of maintaining exceptional operational efficiency in Global Supply chain activities.

Support development initiatives of all globally deployed business systems for BVI, including IFS, MDO data management platforms; and other systems as may be deployed by BVI. Identify areas/potential projects where process redesign/improvement can significantly impact efficiency, quality, profitability, competitive position and customer experience; work closely with Business Partners to ensure that process improvement projects support the strategic priorities of the organization; teach process improvement classes and coach process improvement practitioners across the company. Seeks out and champions new business and technology initiatives with company stakeholders. Configures and maintains MDO data management platforms, their integrations with business partners and regulatory authorities. Helps support the IFS/MDO application suites and serves as project manager for future deployment of IFS modules and MDO data management platforms. Manages 3rd party development resources needed to meet IT project timelines. Coordinates and manages MDO Platforms, improvement initiatives, and projects for the addition of new partners and transaction sets as business requires.

Requirements: BS in CS, Finance or related field, Preferred Masters and 15+ years IT or Senior Operations management Experience; 10+ years working in a manufacturing environment. 10+ years of IFS or another Microsoft based ERP application suite; 10+ years in a management role in Gobal Supply Chain or Quality Management in the medical device or other regulated industry. 5+ years experience with formal planning systems- MRP and Master Scheduling; PLSQL or similar. Preferred: 3 years Crystal report develop; 1-2 years of Business warehouse exposure (Cognos, BW, etc.) 1-2 years support of Understanding of Database development and administration.

Regional Sales Leader - East Coast Region, Reporting to the VP of Sales, the sales leader is responsible for attaining the sales and profitable goals in line with US regional objectives. The sales goals are direct sales and rebated dealer sales in territory. This includes management of all sales activities/processes, implementation of sales programs within the company's strategic plan including but not restricted to recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and management of sales consultants within the region, as well as management of assigned special accounts (PL/SPM/HPG/Kaiser). The Sales Leader may also manage national accounts including distributors and GPO’s.

Principal Engineer, Product Development

The Principal Engineer is responsible for leading and managing high impact R&D initiatives including new opportunity identification, technology development, product development and line extensions in support of business objectives. They will interact with other departments such as management, research, engineering, marketing and new business development to identify core technical competencies that fit with current business focus and potential new markets. Apply sound technical and business principles to investigate new product development opportunities. Support Sales and Marketing in defining market and customer needs and in developing a business plan in target markets. Specify design requirements for current and future products by working closely with sales, marketing and healthcare providers, as well as, provide technical and project leadership over complex design development and research projects and effectively provide technical guidance to project teams in development of products and technologies from concept to commercialization while adhering to medical device design controls/regulatory requirements. Define product specifications, design inputs, product design, verification testing and supporting design validation studies. Perform engineering analyses to support new and existing designs. Fabricate prototypes with assistance from junior staff, technical support team and internal and external suppliers, work with internal and external manufacturing partners to ensure producible designs (DFM), Contribute to company Intellectual Property Portfolio, Hold self and team members accountable to meet commitments and ensure budgets and schedules are well planned and followed. Effectively communicate activity status, issues and mitigation plans with key stakeholders.

Required: Minimum of B.S. in Engineering discipline, minimum of 10 years of experience in product development in the surgical, disposable products or related industries. Experience interfacing and building relationships with Clinicians and KOL's, familiar with Concept Engineering (i.e., VOC, observational research, ODI, etc.). Proven track records of developing products from concept to launch, knowledge of cGMP's and FDA/CE Mark regulatory requirements, experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools and methodology.

In addition: Sitting and standing for long periods of time; bending; squatting; lifting up to 30lbs; attending tradeshows;observing surgery in OR. Travel up to 20%

Customer Support Representative

Currently looking to hire a CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE.

The primary objective of this position is to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction possible to Beaver-Visitec Customers and Sales Representatives. All representatives have the responsibility to provide superior support to external and internal customers. This support will include the following types of tasks: phone/email support, order processing, inquiry response, complaint resolution, data entry and some level of technical product support. The Customer Support Representative will interact with customers to offer solutions by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. As the face of BVI, each team member will attempt to add value when interacting with our customers. The Representative will work as a team or individually to resolve problems promptly in a positive win/win manner that will promote customer loyalty in accordance with company policy, He/She will also take initiative and ownership to meet or exceed established department standards/goals and communicated individual metrics.

Key Responsibilities Include: Inbound Phone Coverage: Handle all inbound call requests including processing phone orders, claims creation in CRM, providing product/technical information, pricing requests and communicating general information, and communicating general information. Will utilized the ERP System to provide prompt and efficient information to customers relating to the above information. Contribute to achieving key metric related answering 96% of calls within 30 seconds. Order Processing: Via fax, email or automated order handling (EDI and GFAX platforms). Special orders, drop shipments and customer change requests may be requested. Orders are processed within 30-60 minutes in IFS. Order accuracy metric achievement required to be greater than 99%. Problem Resolution: Analyze customer scenarios with a sense of urgency and present creative solution/s to enable Customer Satisfaction. Work with the necessary department or leader/s to , escalate situations as needed. Provide feedback on department policies and procedures to impact our continuous improvement. Creating & updating various aspects of our CRM system. Cases are updated real-time.

Required: Bachelor's degree. Minimum 2 years of proven customer service experience. Must have excellent PC/system skills with the ability to learn software programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other databases/ERP Systems. Strong data entry skills. Attention to detail including accuracy, efficiency are a must. The representative will have effective verbal and written communication skills and will be comfortable interacting with external and internal customers in a professional manner via the phone. Hours 9-6 pm.

Preferred: Medical device, healthcare industry, call center experience. High level of knowledge of customer service standards, procedures, principles and practices is desirable. IFS and Sales database experience a plus.
